Where2fly is growing and… it needs you! Today i'm writing an open invitation to the Where2fly user base with the hope that some are interested in contributing to growth of this crowd sourced app. What do I mean? Let me explain. As of now when a location is submitted on Where2fly it is reviewed in the back end before being posted to the app for all users to view. In the review process we check for a few thing, mainly to insure that the submission is in a legitimate flying location with a corresponding image. Here's where we want to bring the community in. Much like Google maps, allows users to moderate and add locations we would like to allow a handful of users to be moderator for location submissions! In doing so we hope to improve the speed at which locations can be approved and also increases the quality of locations being added.

Interested in being a moderator? That's amazing, as a modorater you will help this crowdsourced project grown in a whole new way. Here what you need to know. To start we will be launching a “beta” program with a few users. Because of the nature and responsibility of moderators we ask you to fill out a brief survey with some information. I (AJ Torres) will personally reach out to all who fill out the survey to see about setting up an account to allow you moderate the back end. You can access the survey by clicking this link:  where2fly://#!section=23821781
